Battlefield 2
Launch of our BF2 server
Battlefield 2
Saturday, 12 December 2009 12:47

As off Friday the 11th of December our own BF2 server is online again with 32 slots. If we get this server as popular as our previous one, it will be upgraded to more slots.

It will have mainly air maps running and off course friendly fire is off, same as with our previous server. Some other rules we are used too need to be followed as well, such as waiting for your turn for a vehicle.

All -=XTRA=- members can be admins, the only thing you need is a program called BF2CC. The latest stable version (BF2CC_Client_1.4.2446) can be downloaded here. Simply unpack the zip file and run BF2CC. Then all you need to do is send an e-mail to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to ask for a login name and a password or let us know through a form using the contact button. In the same e-mail you will receive instructions from us on how to connect BF2CC to the right server.

Please enjoy this server, if you have any remarks/comments or questions, just let us know.

How to hover an F-35
Battlefield 2
Written by Moza

An old trick that used to amuse me and many on the old BF2 server, was to hover the F-35 while it was pointing nose up into the air, i think HoChi probably taught me this but i'll pass it on.

Grab an F-35 you'd find on a carrier and pull back fully on the joystick. Give it full power (with afterburner) for 5 seconds and then let go of the throttle so it idles. The plane will then pull up slightly and hopefully be pointing into the sky, you can then raise and lower the plane by using a combination of full power(again with AB) and no power. be wary though, as if you get too close the carrier, you will lose health!

Another trick to add to this is rotating the plane, do this by turning the joystick fully left or right =).
